This live webinar will be held on
Tuesday, August 20
at 9 a.m. Central European Time (3 p.m. SGT)

What we will talk about

This subject explores advanced AI-assisted techniques that are setting new standards in patent drafting. It will highlight specific tools and methods that enhance the drafting process, improve the quality of patents, and ensure compliance with legal standards. The session aims to equip participants with knowledge about cutting-edge technologies that can be integrated into their workflow.

In this 60-minute panel session, we will discuss the transformative impact of generative AI on patent drafting, addressing both benefits and challenges. AI tools have the potential to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality in patent applications. Beyond patent drafting, AI can also assist with invention disclosures, prior art searches, translation, and ideation, allowing patent attorneys to focus on more strategic and complex tasks.

However, there are key concerns regarding the perception that AI might reduce the quality of patent drafts. These concerns are added with concerns related to security and confidentiality. Lastly, we will deep-dive into the key strategies for mitigating the risks and concerns of using AI tools, focusing on how we can embrace AI as a supportive technology rather than fearing it.

Agenda

  •  Benefits of AI in Patent Drafting and other areas of IP
  •  Current Adoption, Tools and Future Trends
  •  Fears and Challenges with Generative AI
  •  Security and Confidentiality Concerns
  •  Final Takeaways and Q&A
