Prof. Dr. Sevim Süzeroğlu-Melchiors is Professor of Digital Entrepreneurship and Financing at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Regensburg. In her previous role as CFO and Management consultant, she accompanied many inventors and founders in different phases of the innovation process. Today, she is a leading appraiser for IP valuation projects, advises start-ups and incumbent firms in their further strategic orientation, and follows her passion to encourage students for start-ups by raising awareness, qualification, and support in teaching and practice.

Professor of Technology Management and Entrepreneurship
University of Applied Sciences TH Ingolstadt 

Prof. Dr. Martin A. Bader is Professor of Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Applied Sciences TH Ingolstadt as well as a European and Swiss patent attorney, and founder and Managing Director of BGW IP GmbH St. Gallen, which specializes in intellectual property management advisory. Previously, he was Vice President and Chief Intellectual Property Officer at Infineon Technologies, including its IPO, and Head of the Competence Center Intellectual Property Management at University of St. Gallen. He is one of the world's top 300 IP strategy consultants and a mediator at the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Carsten Schilde


Technische Universität Braunschweig

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Carsten Schilde is a highly accomplished academic professional, currently serving as the Head of Division in Particle Simulation & Functional Structures at TU Braunschweig. Carsten Schilde's research group has been working on artificial intelligence methods and their coupling with numerical methods for process and particle technology applications for several years. This includes expert management systems for the automated application of machine learning methods, AI architectures for physically inspired hybrid modeling, approaches to surrogate modeling and the use of transformer networks.

"The decision to focus on new methods of machine learning and artificial intelligence in the field of process engineering at an early stage has proven to be the right one for me. I want to pursue this path in a pioneering role in order to ultimately make a contribution to overcoming the major social challenges of our time. Based on current theories from the neurosciences, we are therefore also working on concepts for implementing the functioning of the human brain."

- Friedrich Löffler Prize (2019) in recognition of outstanding achievements in the field of particle technology, particularly in the area of experimental and digital methods and in relation to technically relevant particle systems
- Inclusion in the DFG Heisenberg Programme (2022) with the research focus "Digitization of complex systems in process and production engineering.

Since January 2023, Peter has been leading Dennemeyer Octimine, first as the Global Head and now as the Managing Director. Dennemeyer Octimine is a leading B2B SaaS enterprise with nearly a decade of pioneering work in the field of patent search and analytics.

In his prior role as Product Manager from 2019 – 2022, he was instrumental in steering the company’s product vision. Educated at the University of St. Gallen in Entrepreneurship and Data Science, Peter also holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from Lancaster University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
