Level-Up! with L&D

Why Level-Up?

You might have heard that we do not age, we level up. Is that just a joke? Growing is about facing challenges, solving problems, managing conflicts, undergoing failure and loss, experiencing change, and celebrating achievements. In other words, we grow because we learn.

Because we level up

What does it mean to foster Respect in the workplace?

During 2023 we will honor our Values by exploring related learning and development topics.

After all, committing to a Value is about demonstrating specific behaviors that translate that Value to our daily lives. That is something we can improve and share with others.

A little about Development Days

What?

A combination of webinar and workshops, Development Day sessions normally 4 last 5 minutes and are diivided in two parts. During the first 10-15 minutes key information on the topic is delivered. The rest of the time is to discuss in breakout rooms and in the large group or playing fun games on Menti.

The goal is to provide engaging professionally relevant content in relaxed environment, where sharing experiences and opinions is the focus.

When?

Development Days are generally held on the second to last Thursday of the month. At least three sessions with the same content are held to accommodate the different time zones within Dennemeyer.

Invitations are sent several days in advance. Our suggestion is to accept them tentatively even if you are not sure you can participate, that way you will always see that in your agenda in case you later realize you can join after all.

Why?

Development Days are a great opportunity to learn new information, self-reflect, and, of course, network with your colleagues! With our busy schedules, it is often difficult to find time to meet new colleagues or reconnect with old ones. Development Days offer a productive and engaging way for doing so.

Come join us for the next one and see if you agree!!
